- Only if Bush were to remain in office. He is not. Besides, this is a VERY
- different situation than Iraq or Bosnia. Your logic would not extend to a
- "regular" combat type of situation.

- It *IS* bizarre to me that many of those opposed to sending the *US* military
- were perfectly happy letting the Canadians, or the French, or others go in.
- Not because the US has problems at home, but because the presence of Americans
- suddenly made the operation "imperalist" instead of humanitarian. Take Mr.
- Wells -- please. This sort of blind opposition *does* make the "left" look
- foolish, but I doubt Bush could have expected this level of bozoness. It does-
- n't seem widespread, however. I haven't noticed much of it off the net.
