- Until very recently, Somalis had no written language, hence Somalia's
- history could only exist in the form of a legend, which btw does not
- make it any less valid.

- The bottom line is: Somalia is a member of the Arab League - an
- organization that has its own peace-keeping forces and, as the events
- in Lebanon have demonstrated, is quite capable of intervening
- militarily in its member countries.

- There is no reason for the U.S. to be involved militarily in
- Somalia's internal affairs - it is the job of the Arab League!
