  27. wasted by their students and employees?  I am not a student at DU.  I'm an
  28. employee of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, and have no homework to do.

  30. I proposed alt.fan.cows BECAUSE (draw deep breath here), there is rather a
  31. large chunk of the net that passes around ASCII art of cows, tells cow
  32. jokes, tells funnies about so-called "Cow conspiracies", and so forth. 
  33. Anyone who's ever seen a 100k file of cow art come past on their newsfeed
  34. knows what I mean.  I'm serious about this group, as opposed to my
  35. sarcastic calls for other newsgroups such as "alt.dev.null.mnemonics."

  37. Don't knee-jerk out the ad hominen attacks the very first thing, m'dear. 
  38. Wait for someone to make a flaming and idiotic statement such as "I think
  39. a COW GROUP is NECESSARY and YOU'RE just Prejidiced [sic] aginst COWS" first.
