  33. : the state.  Still others may have job offers from the region and want to know  
  34. : what to expect in their future home.  Ny.* groups cannot be received outside  
  35. : New York State.

  39. : Alt.great-lakes is intended to deal with topics specifically related to the  
  40. : Great Lakes.  Outside of Buffalo, Rochester, Dunkirk, Oswego and the other  
  41. : regions along Lake Erie and Ontario, the Great Lakes plays a very small role in  
  42. : UNY.  Incidentally, most alt.great-lakes discussions deals with Michigan.   
  43. : Although this may be a broad generalization, people in Geneva or Binghampton  
  44. : could care less about Frankenmuth Christmas Village or the Upper Peninsula.
