- RE: Beatles song banned in Ottawa.
-
- According to a local gossip magazine that I worship, known as Frank.
- According to them, and they've got CFRA backing them up, the reporter
- that "broke" the ban story was one of the people who called the
- station complaining about the song in the first place. The writer
- said that something along the lines that she wasn't the FIRST person
- to call in, although she was one of them, so it isn't a conflict of
- interest.
-
- Rather like a reporter yelling fire in a theatre and then reporting on
- it, doesn't it?
-
- (Sorry for the poorly editted message above, I'm using a strange
- 'puter and the cursor keys are rebelling...)
-
- Anybody wanting more info, email me, and if I get enough requests I'll
- post the Frank article. (it's pretty short...)
