  12. A new edition of the Simtel-20 CD-ROM is available.  It contains
  13. about 640 meg of MS-DOS shareware and public domain software.

  15. The Simtel archive has grown since I made the last disc in September,
  16. so there wasn't enough room to include the Ulowell games archive.  I
  17. am planning to finish a separate games disc later this month.

  19. Even without the games archive, there still wasn't enough room on the
  20. disc.  I had to leave something off, so I decided to delete the
  21. windows3 directory.  Most of the stuff in that directory is included
  22. on the CICA disc, so I figured that was better than deleting stuff
  23. that wasn't available elsewhere.

  25. The disc conforms to ISO-9660, which is the most common and generic format.
  26. It will work with almost any reader.  The files are in a standard directory
  27. structure, so no special software is required.  An optional menu driven front
  28. end is provided.

  30. If you want to see what is on the disc, you can ftp the index and readme
  31. files from cdrom.com (192.153.46.254), in the directory /pub/cdroms/simtel.
  32. If you want to use the disc with a BBS, description files are included for
  33. rbbs, pcboard, wildcat, spitfire and opus.  There are also 4dos descript.ion
  34. files in each subdirectory.

  36. The price is $25.  S&H is $5 (per order, not per disc) for US/Can/Mex, and
  37. $10 for overseas.  If you live in California, please add sales tax.  You can
  38. send a check or money order, or you can order with Mastercard/Visa/AmEx.

  49. their own work to the Simtel archive.  Just email me your name, address,
  50. and the name of the program(s) that you wrote.  Overseas addresses are ok.

  64. I am always looking for ideas for new discs, so if there is something you
  65. would really like to see on CD-ROM, please let me know.  In addition to
  66. the games disc, I am also working on an Aminet disc, and a NeXT disc.
  67. I am planning to do a TeX disc, an Atari disc and a CP/M disc in the
  68. next few months.  I am also hoping to find time to upgrade some of the
  69. older discs like the source disc and garbo disc.
