- There have been some postings about doing business with Insight, which is
- apparently the same outfit as Hard Drives International (they share ad
- space). Assuming complaints to Insight/HDI are not answered properly, the
- best bet seems to be to complain to their advertising outlets. Try PC
- Magazine, from which I quote (my inserts in brackets [ ] ):
-
- "If you are dissatisfied with a product advertised in PC Magazine and cannot
- resolve the problem with the vendor, write (do not call) Julie Eigo,
- Advertising Dept. at [PC Magazine, One Park Ave., NYC NY 10016]. Include
- copies of your correspondence with the vendor." (p12, Jan 12 1993 issue)
-
- Also they give an e-mail address for the magazine: MCI Mailbox 157-9301.
- MCI Mail is accessible from Internet.
-
- Do not abuse the magazine, it's not their fault. State your case
- succinctly. If you inform Insight that you intend to complain to PC Mag et
- al before actually doing so, it may encourage them to fix your problem in
- order to avoid questions from the magazine. Good luck.....
