- Hello all. Well, ive finally decided to take the plunge into the world of
- CDROM. I have my list narrowed down (well, err, sorta). Anyways. Here's
- the scoop. I have a ProAudio 16, and plan on eventually using os/2. Now.
- The Texel 3024 seems like a great drive, and I had my mind set on it. But,
- I am reading that Mitsumi has a new drive out, is 340-360 ms, and it is only
- $200-225. Any suggestions? I fear that the Mitsumi will not use the PAS-16
- though, in which case i wouldnt consider it. If I do go with the Texel,
- has anyone had any experience with them and the PAS-16. Just looking for
- setup tips, what type of cabling ill need, etc.. Also, does anyone have
- any suggestions to were one can get the 3024 for under $400? Thanks!
