- My question for anyone out ther is: I have a Nec 73j and I used to read a
- disc no problem a what I thought was a reasonable rate. Nowadays I try to read
- the same disc and when a program requests directory info and to load a prog or
- file it seems (it actually is) much longer. I used an air gun an blew out a bit
- of dust but the problem persists. Any ideas.
-
- Also why is it that I need a disc in the cd rom drive when booting the
- machine. Also itr must be a disc that dos can read. It cant be a music format.
- Any ideas I would be grateful for. Thanks.
