  21. In England we had one that *really* screwed with me. It's very 
  22. simple. A young woman in lying on the road. One eye is dilated the 
  23. other is totally opposite -- It's a clever visual clue to say she's 
  24. is dying and her brain is mushed. The para medics are pushing 
  25. respirators in her and the view rotoscopes out slowly to show hands 
  26. administering ECT to get the heart going. Even at this the pupils are 
  27. still one big one little. She's a vegetable and still they try to 
  28. help her... And all the time this whining shit's voice off to the 
  29. right is saying "Is she gonna be all right?" and "I didn't mean 
  30. it..." It made me want to grab the driver by the lapels and call him 
  31. a dick brained rat from the planet dork.

  33. I woke up to catch the midday news today to hear that three people 
  34. had died in drink driving accidents last night, and a whole village 
  35. woke up to a power blackout because some kids (The driver was aged 14 
  36. the others were 18 and 20) had stolen a car and crashed it into a 
  37. power line... .

  39. ... and still I think of those eyes. One dilated, the other 
  40. contracted.

  42. Tanais sighs and is glad he neither has children to worry about 
  43. (either stealing cars or having to protect them from people that do) 
  44. nor does he drive.
