  15. height to Ignatz or Tanais). Plump'n'cuddly, long blonde hair, 
  16. grey-green-blue eyes, round cheeks, big smile, big blue/grey glasses. 
  17. And don't forget my MerryTail... long, blonde, prehensile and usually 
  18. with coloured highlights or bows or something fun. It's something 
  19. I've always wanted and I've found it here, along with peace and 
  20. freinds to treasure. It's teh extra hand I've always wanted to stop 
  21. me bumping into things or dropping them or being clumsy - one more 
  22. limb to ward off things that ae difficult to cope with. Physically, 
  23. as I'm much more short-sighted in one eye than the other, my eyes 
  24. focus individually - left eye sees you here, right sees you there, 
  25. composite is *almost in the middle - so I don't always get myself in 
  26. the right place. Can barely catch and throw and get nervous at 
  27. rapidly-oncoming objects anyway! Mentally, I'm often so far insde my 
  28. own head that I don't quite get my attention far enough outside to 
  29. see things - but that's been changing a lot lately, as I've been 
  30. growing up this year.

  32. Inside... Usually I'm shy at first and a lot of people can overwhelm 
  33. me. When I'm happy I often get excited, jump up and down, bounce 
  34. around a lot, wave my arms around. I worry that this might upset 
  35. people, but it's me! I get excited, it shows! That's the way I am and 
  36. I hope people can enjoy that rather than find it threatening. I worry 
  37. and think a lot about what others think....  When I'm quiet, I'm very 
  38. quiet and abstracted, far away inside my head or in a book
  39.  
  40. Character-wise - I'm stubborn. I never really know whether astrology 
  41. works, but I *am that typical taurus - bull-headed, earthy, caring, 
  42. round and prone to throat problems. So many bouts of laryngytis I 
  43. lost the sqeaky voice and am now pleasantly (to me) husky, though I 
  44. still squeak a bit in excitement. 
  45. I'm liking much more stuff about myself as I settle down in myself 
  46. and my life. I'm less insecure now - I *have a life!
  47. These days I'm lucky and happy to share it with Ignatz mouse (who is 
  48. probably going to have something to say to this when he gets back 
  49. from Jersey on Monday (the Channel Island not the State) - hurry back 
  50. love, I miss you...

  52. I'm a bookworm, I've been reading for as long as I can remember (age 
  53. 3 or 4 for certain). That's part of living in my head. I love music 
  54. but I'm tone deaf or something, so I can only sing in tune here in 
  55. the Place - or if people can stand the racket. I like to do creative 
  56. things - cooking, making jam, sewing, knitting... pottery as well, 
  57. although I haven't finished a real one yet. As Ignatz and Neil the 
  58. Wolfman can testify, my last pot just fell to pieces - I didn't throw 
  59. it, I dropped it and now it's modern art!

  61. I've been a computer writer for two and a bit years, slightly longer 
  62. if you count freelance (Kateri - really, it's great fun. Go for it!) 
  63. Now I'm pupating into an editor, commissioning peole to write for me, 
  64. editing and dealing with the words and the pages... This has been one 
  65. of the best changes in my life this year. I really love my work and I 
  66. seem to be (am! am! people have told me and I trust the telling and 
  67. feel it's true) - am doing it well.
