  11. Every time any of the patrons have looked at the counter clock behind 
  12. the bar tonight, it's been showing wildly different times, skipping 
  13. back and forth so that we've had the New Year start four or five 
  14. times already.. time is looping strangely tonight... but of course, 
  15. it's New Year's Eve in the Place.

  17. Mary MerryTail wanders back in (you probably never saw me leave!), 
  18. shedding many layers oj jumpers and abig grey, sweeping cloak.
  19. "Ooof. It's cold out there."
  20. One of the jumpers leaves a small pile of snow of the carpet...

  22. wench? Can VAX take care of that? thanks.
  23. God's Blessing please, Mike, I need to warm up. Well. it's definitely 
  24. 1993 here now and I can confirm Danger Mouse's observations - it's 
  25. dark! Tanais and I walked into town in the fog this evening, dropping 
  26. off tins and bottles at the recycling point and watched the hordes of 
  27. people swarnming. Fancy dress and mostly good humour. Came back and 
  28. spent a quiet evening knitting (have you ever tried to teach a fox to 
  29. hold six pieces of wool at once!?), reading and talking.
  30. This has been quite a year for me and I'm as sad as glad to see it 
  31. go. I've grown a lot, lost a lot, gained a lot. Endings have become 
  32. beginnings and whole new things have just appeared where I least 
  33. expected them. I'm doing well in so many parts of my life at teh 
  34. moment and I'm *very glad to be back here in the Place. Like I said a 
  35. while ago, something always turns up.That's what we celebrate at the 
  36. turning of year - Hope and the human spirit, turning and renewal.
  37. And I'm still delighted, surprised and wondering. And of all the 
  38. paces I could have met Ignatz (and nearly did!) I'm very glad it was 
  39. Here. Just like all my other wonderful friends here, as well. Hugs 
  40. and joy to you all. 
  41. I'm going to repeat myself again, a bit - because I can't find better 
  42. words."
