  27. As you look at Dan'l, for just a moment you think that you see something
  28. different than the usual jeans and sweater.  He seems to be covered with
  29. light blue fur, from a nice sky blue on his bare belly gradually darkening
  30. to a midnight blue stripe down his back and improbably long tail.  His
  31. general shape reminds you of a ferret, though the proportions aren't quite
  32. right.

  34. Dan'l continues drinking his beer, quite oblivious to your momentary
  35. hallucination, though he does catch your eye for a moment and winks for no
  36. particular reason.
