  13.        John steps out of the hole he dug himself into with his writing.  He's
  14. looking pretty shaky and teary eyed, as he walks up to the bar and lays a
  15. dollar on top.

  17.      "Sam adams."  He says.  Mike smiles and takes his dollar, sliding the open
  18. bottle across the bar; he'd had one ready.  John smiles and steps up to the
  19. line.

  21.         "Sometimes endings are really beginnings.

  23.         "Then he turned around again, and Jake was gone.
  24.         "In his place was the beginnings of a sunrise.  The darkness before the
  25. dawn was over; it was the start of a new day.
  26.         "Raphael smiled and walked back into the house with Christine.  Jake
  27. always did have a great sense of timing.
