  13. I've *finally* gotten caught up with the group.  I haven't been here in some
  14. time, and I see lots of new names.

  16. Self description since it has been so long: Tall (5'9"/175 cm), "statuesque"
  17. redhead with naturally wavy hair going to mid-back, blue eyes, and freckels.

  19. Some of you may notice that I seem slimmer since you last saw me because I
  20. have actually lost weight.  Sensibly folks, sensibly.

  23. California State University at Long Beach for their Journalism program.

  25. Well, the time is getting close, and I want to have one last *large* gathering
  26. before I leave for the southlands, so the brunch.

  42.   From 101: Moffett Blvd. south (not the Naval base, the other one!) this will
  43.             have you heading *away* from the bay.  When Moffett crosses
  44.             Central Expressway, it becomes Castro Street.  At any signal,
  45.             make a left turn and go two streets to View.  Make a right turn on
  46.             View and head towards El Camino Real.

  48.             The corner of Fairmont and View is the last one before El Camino
  49.             Real.

  51. 600 Fairmont is on the corner, and is a type of Spanish/Mediterrean style
  52. white with red trim.

  54.   From 280: Take Highway 85 North.  Get off at El Camino Real north (towards
  55.             Mountain View).  You have two signal intersections with several
  56.             side streets afterwards.

  58.             Easy landmark: The Hong Kee restaurant on the corner of View and
  59.             El Camino Real.  Make a right turn onto View.  600 Fairmont will
  60.             be across the street and to your left at the stop sign.

  62.             If you miss the turn, the next street is Castro Street.  Make a
  63.             right onto Castro.  Fairmont is the next street.  Make a right
  64.             onto Fairmont, go to the stop sign and find a parking spot.
