  13. doublethink... can you actually do it? I mean *really *truly 
  14. *consciously believe that this is X and this is not X? I can't and 
  15. I've tried a lot. I don't mean tricks where something is a bit of 
  16. this and a bit of that, I mean a realio, trulio absolute 
  17. contradiction. Can you believe that? As I learnt it, the fact that we 
  18. *can't believe contradictions like that is what makes logic (first 
  19. order) work at all, even as a tiny subset of the world. I think it's 
  20. thinking like that that makes it difficult for me to grasp quanta 
  21. stuff and wave/particle states and Schroedinger's cat.... surely it 
  22. must be either *one or the *other?????? (Sorry, not a good discussion 
  23. to start!)
