- From various perches, rafters, and rookeries fly a multihued menagerie
- of dangerously darting but darling dainty dragonoids dealing out this
- din: (no words - Stan is not around)
-
- (much singing to the tune of happy birthday)
- Balloons! Birthday shower! Confetti! Rice! Left-over snowballs!
- (more singing)
- The VPM Pings and proceeds to produce a Party Pastry of pretentious
- pulchritude festooned with frivilous flowers of frosting.
- (even more singing)
- Dragons bugle. Xwindows show Xfireworks. Alien space-ships flash lights.
- (final stanza, sans Stan)
-
- There is a rush to the bar for drinks (Mike and Tom and a couple of
- volunteers are tending bar at what looks like time-lapse speed) and
- numerous toasts and shattered glass and VAX humming quietly in the
- corner something which nobody notices sounds like Rockabye Baby but not
- sweeping up any glass while Fast Eddy pounds out unrecognizably jazzy
- variations on Happy Birthday while Jakes harmonizes with a happy singing
- of electrified strings.
-
- (If you just had a birthday and you did not appear on this list,
- NYaaah NYaaah you forgot to tell me, turkey! Send me your name and Email
- address, your favorite drinks and your birthday (year not required,
- besides nobody comes CLOSE to being as old as I). Better luck next year)
-
- (Also if you are lurking and decide to come out, you might email me for
- the ALLABOUT Callahan's, which gives rather more than you wanted to know
- about the place, but might make an interesting 5 minutes reading)
