  11. Jilara, yours is the carelessness of the true expert.  I cook much the
  12. same way you do, and have gotten into the habit of automatically
  13. converting any measurements into proportions.  E.g.: 2 parts water to 1
  14. part flour.

  16. However, if I were to try sewing something, I'd make a horrible mess of
  17. it with those kinds of measurements; I'd *have* to sit down with tape
  18. measure and work it all out.
