Gecko-boy frowns.  "I'm not offended, Abner, just confused.  That *is*
what the gay+lesbian self-denfense organization is called, at least
in New York City. I guess this could be considered an example of gallows
humor -- the gay community picking a somewhat self-deprecating name
to deal with a serious problem -- but it's not a joke as in the sort
with a punch-line."
