- In the meadow, folk dance in a healing ritual for the Didi Sprite. Didi
- sits to one side of the circle, a focus for the dancers.
-
- Thyra steps to one edge of the circle, seperating herself for a space from
- the dancers. She comes to rest facing Didi Sprite, her arms upraised, body
- twitching sinuously, tail flicking with the beat of the dance. Her eyes
- glow softly green, the color of healing, and her aura is blue, for soothing
- and peace. She looks on our friend the Didi Sprite, and chants melodiously.
-
- "Bright blessings upon you dear Sprite,"
-
- "Welcome indeed, to this circle of friends. Let each of us aid as we might.
- Tis Solstice at last, a time for ending and a time for rebirth, a time for
- giving and for healing, for loving and caring, for remembering what was and
- forming what shall yet be. Let the healing powers of The Lord and The Lady
- come to this gathering, that they may be used where there is need. The
- quarters are called, the circle formed. Dancers spin to the sound of the
- drum, and drummers beat to the pulse of the dance. The energy forms, a cone
- above us. Bright beams lance forth, Power seeking need. Healing we ask, at
- this opening of the ways. For our friend Didi Sprite, and for others in
- need. By old ways and true, we ask and are given. and for this gift we
- thank the, creatrix and creator, makers of all. Merry met and merry part,
- and merry meet again."
-
- "Take our gift dear Sprite, and use it at need. What is in excess, grant to
- others at their need, that none be wasted. Thou art loved, as thou hast
- loved. And love has the power to cure what is ill. Blessed be dear Sprite.
- Be well."
-
- Her aura reaches out from her extended hands, embracing Didi-sprite in the
- warmpth and security of healing powers. Then Thyra rejoins the dancers, as
- others take their turns.
-
- Blessed Be,
- Thyra
