- It is Solstice. December 21st, 1992.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- The Didi-Sprite steps from the 'Folx' room into the now-empty bar.
- She is dressed in white leggings and tunic and wears a wreath of
- mistletoe and holly in her hair. In her hands she carries a bouquet
- of Rosemary, Sage, Lavender, and Rue ... the four herbs associated
- with the festival of Christmas.
-
- Rosemary for Remembrance and Friendship;
- Sage for good health and long life;
- Lavender for its sweet fragrance and long
- association with this festival;
- and, Rue, the herb of repentance and subse-
- quently of grace.
-
-
- Opening the French Doors, Didi steps out onto the meadow where she
- joins the assembled company of friends. She allows herself to be
- drawn into the center of the circle and awaits the start of the
- healing ritual.
