- This has happened to me twice before, and once was when I was visiting
- San Jose prior to moving here. National Rental Car paid the ticket (they
- got the ticket since they were the registered owner of the car), and
- sent me a bill for it. Your friend can probably expect to get a bill from
- her rental car company, but she should probably call the company to make
- sure that is what will happen.
