  12. Heh....  Nice tale!  That must've been a year or two before I got to the U of
  13. MN...  
  14. In Spring of '90 only Brothers Max (nearly as well-known as Jed) and Dan showed
  15. up.
  16.     Max is known as the man who liked to beat the Word of God into his
  17. wife.  Max oughta get a real job.
  18.     And for those in the know, what happened to Br'er Dan?  Did he go back
  19. to his day job as the Strutting San Diego Chicken?

  21. Spring of '91 brought Max again, with a new trainee, Brother Leonard.  I don't
  22. think Brother Leonard was gonna make the cut:  he was nearly intelligent enough
  23. to think for himself.  He knew some philosophy (well, he didn't know
  24. philosophy, but he knew about philosophers), and he got beat on a little bit -
  25. it was big news at the U that Spring - a (black) guy kicked Leonard, three
  26. white guys grabbed the black guy and held him down, a lesbian started screaming
  27. racism, one of the guys made homosexual jokes about her, and the MN Daily took
  28. photos...  From the Destroyers 'peaceful' spiel came racism, homophobia,
  29. 'religionism' (???), and photo-ops... Tee Hee...  I just wish that people
  30. didn't feel that physical abuse would solve the problem of Jed and Co....  This
  31. is America, and no matter how distasteful the message, they have a right to
  32. spew it.  On the other hand, as one of the founders of University Atheists and
  33. Unbelievers, I am biased towards free speech...  
  34.     Speaking of which, if there are any readers at the U of MN in Mpls,
  35. please check to see if UAaU is still around.  I transferred and haven't heard
  36. anything in quite a while.  Thanks!
