- According to the FidoNews digest - accessible in the USENET newsgroup

- If you have questions regarding FidoNet, please direct them to
- deitch@gisatl.fidonet.org, not the FidoNews BBS. (Be kind and
- patient; David Deitch is generously volunteering to handle
- FidoNet/Internet questions.)
-
- I would suggest this might be a good starting place.

- I would advise against this. In general, when using Fully Qualified
- Domain Names (FQDN), you should avoid using paths. There are many
- exceptions to this rule, but it is a good rule of thumb. The whole
- point behind the Domain Naming System (DNS) is that the paths are
- hidden from the user and the best known path is chosen.
-
- It is possible that there is a problem with the FidoNet zonelist
- or that the Mail eXchanger (MX) records for the network are incorrect.
- David Deitch may be able to help you determine where the problem is
- occuring. If all else fails, you might try contacting the fidonet.org
- domain administrators - David Dodell or Tim Pozar. But first, try the
- person who has volunteered.
-
- [By the way - 1:109/305, Paul Parker, Annandale VA, NOVA BBS, is listed
- in the FidoNet zonelist]
