This has got to be a put on! OK, who is this Mark fellow that is trying to pull our chains?
I mean really! If this is a serious post, I am not sure who is more ignorant, the sysop that posted the advert, or mark for not being able to read between the lines.
Mark, if that is really what the advert said.. take a moment and think. What person would tout having '0' Day Old Public Domain Wares? And the nerve to list it as an ELITE system (meaning access granted only to CERTAIN Hi-Speed callers).... All indicators are that this BBS is a Software Pirating Operation. There are PRIVATE BBS systems around dedicated to a specific concept (services for a company, tech support, programmers only), but, the 0-Day wares and Elite access combo paints a very specific trade
mark.
Again, if this is not a hoax question... Stay away from that BBS, many of them carry compressed disks with Virus programs in the boot blocks, or link file virus programs in the executables... They, as a whole, deal in speed. They care not about file accuracy nor protection of thier callers. And they thrive on cheating software writers out of thier well earned compensation.
