I have decided it's time to start advertising the merits and availability of my system. Not only that, I am tired of the boring standard Maximus "hello" screen.
Therefore I am seeking the help of all the creative wizards out there in creating a couple of machine reproducible logos for both my system - Automation Central and for a network I founded last year - Enterprise Systems Network.
The primary thrust of my system is the exchange of information about mainframe (enterprise) computing including Data Center Automation and OS/2. While this is the primary focus, I also participate in a number of other networks for discussion purposes as well.
Enterprise Systems Network (ESN), is dedicated to the exchange of information about mainframe & enterprise-wide computing.
I have wrestled with a number of drawing programs, etc. trying to create something "special" to jazz up and advertise my system, but haven't come up with anything that I would consider presentable. Therefore, I am seeking the help of all you creative types out there.
Now you are probably saying to yourself - "what's in it for me?" Well, I can't pay you anything, but credit for the winning designs will be recognized where ever they are used. I will also award the winning designer(s) with extended access privileges to my system, including the private line when it is available.
So if you are interested, feel free to either logon my system and upload your designs or file attach them to me. I will select the winners on 2/1/93 (the anniversay of ESN's founding), so I would appreciate it if you would submit your entries by 1/31/93.
Thanks in advance for your help and contribution to the growth of my system!
