- Nope. Xerox took an initial dive into the PC market with its
- PARC-developed Star a couple of years before Apple released the Lisa.
- Unfortunately, Xerox targeted the machine for the corporate market
- which was still uneasy with the notion of personal computers on
- office desktops. The machine got a lot of press interest and not
- much else. Xerox cut its losses and ran earlier than it probably
- should have.
