- I operate a BBS which uses radio waves...
-
- Digital communications over radio is known as Packet Radio, and packet is
- operated by Amateur ("ham") Radio operators. We Radio Amateurs have an ad
- hoc international network of Packet BBSs which provide store-and-forward
- relay of personal messages and bulletins.
-
- My Packet BBS also has telephone access: 718-956-7133.
-
- There are also commercial radio services using packet radio technology,
- including packet BBSs.
-
- I hope this begins to answer your question!
