  25. Compuserve (CIS) has its own own "e-mail" system that works quite well.
  26. There are "hooks" into Internet, MCI, etc... with special prefixes you can
  27. even send text FAXes and regular mail.

  41. Hmmmm. The user interface is old and manual control requires some
  42. getting used to.  For this purpose there are forums accessible by "GO
  43. HELPFORUM", "GO PRACTICE" and the connect charges are halted.
  44. There are communications programs specifically designed to take out the
  45. guess-work of on-line command drudgery: AUTOSIG is good, it's free; I
  46. have used it for two years.
