  28. That there are scary people out there who firmly believe that if they can
  29. just get their brand of moral meat hooks into my "soul" the country would
  30. be saved.  More importantly, they firmly believe that forcing their
  31. delusions down everyones throat is justified to return to those utopian
  32. days of yesteryear.  Just because such drivel is laughable doesn't make it
  33. any less dangerous.  I'm sure the Jews of Europe in the '20 didn't take the
  34. ravings of a lunatic head of a small hate group as a serious threat.  Sure
  35. antisemitism hounded their existence, but this guy was not threat, right?

  37. These people are even more dangerous, IMHO.  They have GOD on their side,
  38. therefore anything they do is blessed.  Remember, the large majority of
  39. people in the US are Xian's, or claim to be.  All it would take is some
  40. major societal catastophy, and these, I follow the one and only right true
  41. way, people would come storming out of their hiding places to convince the
  42. nation that the cause of their enemies.  Its already happening, just look
  43. at all the finger pointing at "humanism" in our schools being the root
  44. cause of our current "decline" as a nation.

  46. As you, I think, and perhaps others have pointed out in this group, Xian's
  47. world view is based on emotions, not cold logic.  Find the right hot
  48. bottoms, especially when the subject is under stress, and you can make
  49. those who are guided by emotions do anything you want.  It doesn't matter
  50. that most Xian's are a peacible lot, their world view makes them ripe for
  51. this kind of manipulating.
