-
- Why is this shooting ourselves in the foot or doing any other kind of harm
- to ourselves? If God created us and know what criteria are necessary for
- belief on our part then he will either contact you or he wont. Otherwise
- dont worry. As a born again xian for 14 years, I worried about whether my
- interpretations of the Bible or whathever were pleasing to God. What a
- waste! My bet is that you wont be getting a fax from God anytime in the
- future. If our religious forefathers screwed someting up in the
- translation it doesnt seem to me impossible for an omnipotent being to fix it.
-
- I could not tell you what sort of evidence I would require in order to
- believe in god, a it would beg the question to say that I knew what was
- required. If someone who matches my conception of what god might be shows
- up, how could I possible know that this was the real McCoy and not some
- powerful extraterrestrial. If anyone knows the answer it would be god
- herself. Since she is not talking, I dont worry; neither should you. :)
