- Many Muslims do disagree with the calls for Rushdie's death. Muslim
- leaders with this viewpoint have made their viewpoint public. The
- popular newspapers in the west have, however, considered these opinions
- to not be "newsworthy" enough to print. So blame the press for your
- ignorance of the situation, not Muslims.

- I do not know the details of any of these cases, or even if some of them
- exist. So I do not have the authority to comment here. If you would
- direct me to any articles in newspapers/magazines regarding these
- incidents, I would be happy to read them and comment on them for you as
- best as I could.
