  12. i saw a plaintive cry for an article on art on alt.art.com. i am a
  13. middle-aged artist on a com. site, my husband's old hand-me down
  14. macplus. i have not posted much on the net lately because i am not
  15. comfortable typing on a keyboard.

  17. i have been trying to track down a source for a pen which would write
  18. five evenly spaced lines at once. i use a gravity feed fountain pen for
  19. writing poetry and prose and notes on scientific texts. i am wanting to
  20. draw staves for composing music interlocked with drawings. i want the
  21. staves to be curved not always straight.

  23. i have been experimenting with composing music by drawing lines found in
  24. nature atop staves. one morning i drew in a folding book the track of a
  25. serpent crossing the dirt road. i then added three haiku to the staves.
  26. i added drawings of leaves and birds which left their imprints in the
  27. sand to the staves. i looked at what i had done and wanted the staves
  28. themselves to arc and dive in a serpentine line.

  30. i have called music stores and suppliers in all sorts of places. years
  31. ago people drew their own manuscript paper. as a child i remember
  32. seeing pens to draw staves. i have tried taping five pens together to
  33. draw curved lines. the results are horrible.

  35. does anyone know where i might obtain such a pen ? or how i might make
  36. a pen nib or device that will work ? i am really obsessed with drawing
  37. music right now.
