- Gosh, what a wonderful basis to build your life around. One assumes that
- you will not be seeking romantic or family commitments, given that this must
- inevitably distract you from your intellectual pursuits.
- (IMNSHO) Intellect is a tool. It allows us to appreciate life more, it
- allows us to better pursue our goals, and it allows us some amount of
- satisfaction in exercising it.
- However the goals and patterns by which we lead our lives are set by our
- needs and our emotions. Intellect is *NOT* superior to emotions, no more than
- a computer is superior to a person. They do different things, and both are
- needed for a complete human being.
