-
- Islam, sure... the article concerns Muslims, who are, of course,
- of the Nation of Islam. Human social rights, because rape is the act
- of having one's social rights breached. Abortion, you betcha, because
- rape is not conducive to giving a happy birth.
-
- > 2) alt.sex, alt.sex.bestiality, alt.society.anarchy
-
- Okay... I agree with the first two. Sure, sex is involved, but
- there are newsgroups dealing with violent and non-consentual sex. Those
- sex groups are for people who explore sexuality for the sake of pleasure.
- (Yeah, I know a rapist can be considered a "beast," but that's not what
- alt.sex.bestiality is for! :-) Anarchy? Perhaps. After all, that whole
- region could be considered to be in a state of anarchy, depending on your
- viewpoint. But with all of the other newsgroups saturated thus, I concede
- that it's not as necessary in alt.society.anarchy.
-
- > 3) alt.society.civil-liberty, alt.true-crime, aus.politics
-
- Okay, again... certain liberties are being denied, but the subject
- of rape could be considered off-topic there, I'm not sure. True-crime?
- We don't know it for a fact yet, therefore, premature, not necessary there.
- Hmmm... what IS aus.politics??? :-) Austrian or Australian politics???
- If it's Austria, perhaps because it's right next to the Balkans... *sigh*
-
- > 4) soc.culture.croatia, soc.culture.europe, soc.culture.usa
-
- Croatia, absolutely. Europe, Absolutely. USA - NOT!
-
- > 5) alt.activism, alt.conspiracy, ??
-
- Activism... but of course. Brain food for radical minds, don't
- ya know :-) Conspiracy could fit under the framework of ethnic cleansing,
- which is very much one of the definitions of conspiracy.
-
- > 6) soc.culture.yugoslavia (posted at least twice)
-
- Yugoslavia, absolutely... Twice? Maybe the poster had a
- propagation error which turned out to be false, and posted the first
- as well as the second?
-
- > 7) talk.politics.theory, talk.rape, talk.religion.misc
-
- I could see it under just talk.politics.general, as the Balkan
- conflict is already a current topic there. Talk.rape, absolutely.
- Talk.religion.misc? Well, I'll agree that with soc.religion.islam, the
- base is covered there.
-
- >There are probably more newsgroups which I don't know
- >about, but you get the idea. (Anyone care to add to
- >the list?)
-
- The only feeling I'm left with is that of jealousy... I don't
- have enough hours in the day to be able to cover so many newsgroups to be
- able to notice such an ample cross-posting. :-)
-
- Take care,
