  16. It's easy to see that the story is war propaganda.  _Only_
  17. Muslim and Croatian women are raped.  _Only_ Serbians do the
  18. raping, and under government orders, too.  The dateline is,
  19. of course, Zagreb -- the capital of Croatia.

  21. Atrocity stories can be believed only when they describe
  22. both, or all sides, as committing the atrocities, or when
  23. the perpetrators and the reporters are from the same side
  24. (e.g. My Lai 4).  War consists largely of murder, arson,
  25. rape, theft, and other forms of wanton destruction, and
  26. no doubt the leaders of Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia should
  27. be put on trial if possible, since they all contributed to
  28. starting the present war.  But the idea that Serbians are 
  29. somehow worse than other people is absurd.  They're just
  30. equally as bad.
