  12. This is a request for a new service.

  14. I need ftp-request in reverse.

  16. That is, someone who can't enable ftp login for uunet staff and can't
  17. set up a direct uucp link to me has to get a moderately large pile
  18. of data to me, with a modicum of security.

  20. I'd like to achieve this by paying uunet for the privilege of an
  21. ftp-only login account, chrooted to a spot with a moderate amount of
  22. disk space. I could give my correspondant the login info, and then
  23. uucp the results up here.

  25. The uunet tech support person I spoke to said that my only option is
  26. to use anonymous ftp, which has no security and can run into disk space
  27. limits.
