- Assumption time: Acorn electron was a subset of the BBC A/B computers, although
- it used a horrible video chip/custom chip to do it. I know, I wrote a game for
- both these beasts. So I'll assume the joystick for both is the same (my game
- didn't need a joystick).

- First thing is, the joystick is analogue (potentiometers 'n' that). Not
- having my Maplin catalogue at work, I can't say if they still sell joysticks
- like that, but they used to. Try the catalogue (various sections:- projects,
- wound components, miscellaneous, and a few others, you often find what you're
- looking for in the most unobvious sections of this catalogue), it may even
- have a connection diagram too. Also, if yuo can get a technical manual on the
- BBC or Electron there should be a diagram of how to connect it.

- BTW, 'paddles' (for the pong game) are analogue joysticks that have been
- nobbled a bit, so you could try laying your hands on a set of paddles instead.
