- Another unit that doesn't have the name recognition as the CD-I unit is the
- CDTV unit from Commodore. Neither unit is selling very well, even though
- Phillips is spending who knows how much more money advertising their unit
- over Commodore. Commodore does have an interesting ad comparing the two
- machines, which I think is well done. Spend a little extra $$$ and you can
- get a disk drive and keyboard to hook up to the CDTV and get at the computer
- inside of it. I don't have either one, but the CDTV sounds like a better
- buy. (Yeah right. Just like Beta is better than VHS. Look who won that
- one. :-() Unfortuneatly, it seems like developers are bending over back-
- wards for the CD-I unit which probably means it will come out on top in the
- end.
