  19. One of the provisions of the new Cable Bill just passed into law is
  20. that services will have to be offered channel by channel in the future.
  21. Unfortunately, the cable companies have 10 years to do this and even
  22. then, it will probably not be enforced.

  24. Best bet is to have Baby and Ma Bell fiber optic to your door to force
  25. true competition and offer services and selections WE want, not what
  26. brings them the highest profit margin in the monopolized business of
  27. today.
