- I wasn't at the Springsteen concert the other night, or
- the Bowie concert from a few years ago, but I have attended
- a number of concerts at the Dean Dome. I've always
- thought it had average to great acoustics.
-
- I don't remember any particular complaints about the
- Springsteen concert from a couple of years ago. The Sting
- concert from about 4 years ago was incredible, it had about
- the best acoustics of any concert I've ever attended (the Sting
- concert from a year ago was only average). I've seen "loud"
- acts such as Pink Floyd, and "quieter" acts like Billy Joel,
- and usually been happy with the sound. When compared to
- arenas like the Greensboro Coliseum the Dean Dome has
- much better sound than older venues.
-
- All of course, IMHO.
