- A friend who left this area has given me a plant. I think she called
- it a Fishtail (Fern, Palm?). It is about 3 feet high. The stem near
- the base is thick and woody. It has about 3 or 4 stems with leaves
- that do look like fishtails. It is still in the temporary planter
- in which it was purchased (I think this last spring).
-
- Can anyone tell me about this plant, and what I should do to keep it
- alive? It looks like it could turn into a rather nice large houseplant.
- It has a new branch forming, so I think it has possibilities. Should
- I re-pot it now or wait until spring?
