- Zenith Z-150 computer (XT compatible) with the following:
- Tiny Turbo 286 accelerator card (provides 286 compatibility and speed)
- CGA adaptor and monitor
- 20MB hard drive, 5.25" 360KB and 3.5" 720KB diskette drives
- 704KB (not a misprint!) conventional RAM and 1024K EMS RAM
- 1 serial and 1 parallel port, Logitech mouse, multifunction board
- If you don't plan to run Windows, this system is fine for word processing,
- communication, recordkeeping, games, etc.
-
- Okidata ML92 9-pin dot matrix printer -- ASCII character set (does not include
- IBM extended characters). A solid, reliable workhorse.
-
- Miscellaneous software: Reflex, Peachtext, Condor RDBMS, DeSmet C,
- MS-Pascal, MS-Fortran, MS-COBOL, lots of 5.25" 360KB floppy diskettes
-
- Grid Compass 1101 Laptop Computer (not DOS-compatible) with 256K RAM,
- 8086/8087, 384K bubble memory, 1200 bps internal modem, VT100 emulator,
- Grid Management Tool Set. Can you believe these suckers cost about $9K
- when they first appeared? Now, the value of this system has to be primarily
- historical/collectible/novelty, but it could be used as a remote terminal.
-
- Price for everything $350 or best offer. Call John at 933-0078 (evenings)
- or 966-6966 (weekdays), or send email to jfm@med.unc.edu.
