- Not true anyway. a 6 is a narrow white bar, a narrow black bar a narrow
- white bar and a very wide black bar (the other pattern for 6 is the same with
- black and white reversed)
-
- The first guard pattern is a narrow black, narrow white, narrow black and
- the code for 0. While the code for 0 starts with a wide white band it isn't
- the very wide band required for it, when combined with the first 3 bars, to
- become a 6. The middle guard pattern is narrow white, narrow black, narrow
- white, narrow black narrow white. No wide band required for 6. The trailing
- code is a digit (checksum?) followed by a narrow black, narrow white, narrow
- black. No 6 here, unless the checksum digit is a 6.
-
- It seems the fundies see the 2 narrow bars close to each other is enough for a
- 6. The wide bar is necessary for the code to become a 6.
