- I saw a talk show last night with a fellow named Peter E. Johnson, Ph.D,
- who wrote a book called "Darwin on Trial". Does anyone know anything about
- this book, or this guy's credentials?
-
- He started off by sounding reasonable. Then he started discussing the
- origin of Darwin's theory--making mention of the great social changes of
- the last century. He then stated that Darwinism had at its central core
- something called "positivisitic science": the belief that everything must
- be provable / testable by science, and that science must have a demonstrable
- answer to any phenomenon; a simple "We don't know" is not (according to
- Johnson) acceptable to Darwinism.
-
- Has anyone heard of this guy or his book?
