- Supernovae have been observed, have they not? So it is known that they
- occur, whether or not the mechanism is known.

- Has abiogenesis been observed? No it has not. So this fact plus the fact
- that no adequate model under which it can occur has been proposed
- indicate that there is no justification for believing that it occurred.
