  12. RMIT university in Melbourne is conducting research into the incorporation
  13. of energy issues into tertiary education curriculum and energy use on
  14. campus.
  15.  
  16. As the projects Research Assistant I am seeking to compile information
  17. regarding these two areas of energy in tertiary institutions across the
  18. world.
  19.  
  20. Topics covered in course curriculum could include for example:
  21.     % Energy efficiency and conservation
  22.     % Environmental and social impacts of energy
  23.     % Energy economics / cost
  24.     % Energy management
  25.     % Renewable and alternative energy
  26.     % Energy use
  27.     % Design for energy efficiency
  28.  
  29. I am specifically seeking to identify examples of curriculum materials and
  30. activities such as research projects, guest speakers, field visits and
  31. information sources used, but am also interested in finding out what
  32. contexts are set for students. ie. Why is energy conservation worth
  33. pursuing?

  35. In addition, I am seeking information regarding any work that has been
  36. undertaken which looks at the actual energy consumption of tertiary
  37. institutions and at ways of reducing this consumption.
