- Welcome to THIS OLD CATHEDRAL. Last week, as you may remember, we
- finished taking down the wooden altar and the superstructure in the
- choir, for shipping to a chapel down in Norfolk. *This* week, the
- masons will pull up the stones in the apse so the work on the crypt
- ceiling can begin. But first, the glazers are here to begin taking
- down the stained glass windows in the south transept and the nave to
- cleaning and refurbishing. Let's watch, shall we?
