- Well, as someone who has given birth to two children, I can see the logic
- behind the questioning during labor. It's not a time when you have the
- strength or ability to easily come up with a lie. I was able to answer
- questions in one word sentencesand had a very low tolerance for being
- 'fussed with' by anyone. I do remember that a ham-handed intern came in
- and examined me during my first labor. He was extremely rough and I
- threatened to kick him in the balls if he touched me again. All manners
- and courtesy go out the window when you are giving birth!
