  25. The same is also true of most other members of the animal kingdom.
  26. However, there are vast differences of every sort between a born human
  27. being, a born animal, and a fertilized egg.

  29. The objection to saying that a fertilized egg is more important than a
  30. person is raised because many of us feel that we earn our worth, and
  31. that our education and experience make us somehow significant in the
  32. universe.  If you feel that the sole purpose of a woman, Suzanne, is
  33. to create more men and women, then I can almost understand your
  34. opinion that a fertilized egg is just as important in the process as
  35. the woman who bears it; however, I think that a woman of childbearing
  36. age is quite a bit more important than this.

  38. I honestly believe in what I feel, Suzanne, as strongly as you believe
  39. in what you feel; I'm no more a "baby-killer" than you would call
  40. yourself a "woman-abuser".  Your position on abortion (laws
  41. prohibiting it in all cases) is as far from mine (absolutely no legal
  42. restrictions on abortion) as we can get; I'd like to find out what
  43. fuels your belief, and at the same time offer my opinions to you for
  44. scrutiny; I want to understand "the other side" as well as I can.
